Why My Inner Child was Pissed

My inner child gave me a disappointed look. Why haven't you been singing?

Back in March I went on a women's retreat in Tulum and we did an Inner Child Journey. When we came out of it, our therapist asked, "Isn't your child so proud of you?" and I said, no she is not happy. SHE (me when I was little) loved to SING. And I haven't been singing.

I tapped into a core passion of mine that wasn't being met in recent years. (8 years in fact.) Consciously I had no idea that I was really missing anything from my life. But subconsciously it was uncovered here.

When I was a kid I was obsessed with the musical Annie. It was not only the first musical I was ever in at at age 8, but I performed in 3 versions of Annie before I graduated high school. So when I saw a local theatre company was doing Annie this year, my 7 year old begged me to signed her up and I did.

I got to watch the first rehearsal with her and my heart sang! I was so excited! Hearing the music and seeing the choreography, I felt like such a stage mom. But then I realized something "OMG! I DON'T want to be a STAGE MOM!"

So I SIGNED myself up, auditioned and am now I'm going to be performing in ANNIE too! I will be playing the role of Lily St. Regis (named after the hotel!!)

I'm singing, dancing and acting and my INNER CHILD is SOOOOOO happy.

So I wonder, what can you sign up for that would make your inner child so excited?

In hypnotherapy I work with my clients to do some deep exploring of the child within. Through this work we can build comfort, love and safety that may have been missing in childhood. Through this work we are able to bring confidence, self love and a feeling of safety into your adult life. Inner Child work can help reduce anxiety, attract love, and build career confidence.

Mark your calendar for Sept 30th at 10 am for our next Hypno Sound Bath where we focus on the inner child and a rebirth to free you from fear and reignite your passion!
