When you come in for your first hypnotherapy session we will begin to explore what may be getting in the way of your sense of joy . Maybe it is a fear or anxiety that was picked up somewhere on your path but is no longer needed anymore. Once we discover this core belief we can re-write it to be something much more supportive.
Hypnotherapy is a relaxed state that is very natural. In fact, we are all in hypnosis all the time in our waking lives. Every night before bed and when we wake up in the morning, when we are driving, or when we are watching a movie. If you do mindfulness practices like yoga or meditation you are very familiar with the hypnotic state. Unlike meditation, where you clear the mind, the goal in hypnosis is to put things in there.
