She held a group session for a moms group I'm a part of, and we all floated away with a new lightness about us. Not only is she a kind, supportive, gracious person, Jenn is so authentic. She is able to use her skills and training to craft a very individualized experience for all of her clients, even in a group setting. I came out of her session feeling affirmed, powerful, and ready to confront my goals, fears, and feelings with a new confidence. I highly recommend Jenn Levin!” -Theresa

FAQs about clinical hypnotherapy
-
Each person's goals for hypnotherapy are unique, so it's difficult to pinpoint what the success rate is. However, research (like this literature review on hypnosis for pain control and anxiety) shows that it can be quite effective.
In my professional experience as a certified hypnotherapist, I've seen firsthand how helpful it can be. Some people start seeing results after a single hypnotherapy session! When you're in a hypnotic state (a natural state of deep relaxation), you have greater access to your subconscious mind. This state allows you to absorb your therapist's suggestions, creating shifts in negative thought patterns that can lead to behavior change.

For most people, hypnotherapy is a completely safe treatment option. Most people feel deeply relaxed during hypnosis and are able to create positive changes to improve relationships, kick bad habits, and reach their goals.
While it's common to remember everything from their hypnosis sessions, some people may experience amnesia. This may be seen as a negative effect to some people.
It's also important to note that hypnosis isn't meant to replace proper medical or mental health care, so managing expectations around what hypnosis can offer is important.

Some insurance plans may cover hypnotherapy if it's deemed medically necessary.
My practice is considered out-of-network so people can access this service regardless of whether their insurance company approves. This allows you to have total freedom and control over your care.
